Because you can’t see every band at the French Quarter Fest this year, we built a handy utility that will help you organize your favorite performers into one easy-to-read schedule. Click this link:
Get Organized!
Simply click on the day you want to schedule. When the performers appear, drag and drop your choices into the builder box on the right. When you have selected all of your favorites, click “Organize”. Our builder will create a printer-friendly schedule organized by time slot. You can discuss the utility or the festival in general in our forum: NOLAFests forum.

NOLAFests.com started as a message board for desperate hedonists to discuss where and how they were going to be humiliating themselves New Orleans-style. I happen to think that others may like to read about our exploits at these events, so I started this blog. If you would like to write about your experiences or list events, please contact us.
New Orleans-themed festivals and events occur all over the country now, and other festivals adopt certain characteristics of New Orleans culture. The giving of beads, for example, has captured a place in the mainstream, though I happen to think the beads are given too generously and without the usual recompense. Can you say “tit for tat”? But I digress…
The Carnivale spirit that thrives on Bourbon St. every night has crept out to the rest of the country around it. Crawfish festivals, Jazz festivals and Mardi Gras parties are commonplace in many parts. It is the aim of this site to attend and report on as many as possible, and perhaps have some fun along the way.
